Guiding for All: Supporting Every Girl to Experience Guiding
The Guiding for All Fund aims to ensure that every girl has the opportunity to benefit from the life-changing experience of Guiding, regardless of her or her guardians’ financial circumstances.
The Malta Girl Guides is a volunteer-led organisation that works hard to keep participation in Guiding as affordable as possible. However, for some members, costs such as annual membership fees, uniforms, activities, and camps can still present a challenge.
Through this fund, the association will be able to provide financial assistance to girls who may otherwise struggle to participate fully in Guiding activities.
Donations may support a range of needs, including membership fees, the purchase of uniforms, and participation in events, activities, and camps.
Requests for assistance will be submitted by volunteer leaders and reviewed through a transparent process by a small committee within the association. This ensures that support is allocated fairly and reaches girls who genuinely need it.
By contributing to the Guiding for All Fund, donors will help ensure that no girl misses out on the friendships, adventures, and personal growth that Guiding offers simply because of financial barriers. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference in allowing a girl to fully experience Guiding.
