The Core; where family meets
For the past 25 years Families for Christ group has been meeting regularly to support families throughout their married life, with their children. During the past years, we felt the need to have a listening centre; one where the family can meet, relax, share and attend any counselling sessions. With the help of The Good Shepard sisters in Balzan, Families for Christ now finally have a centre in Balzan. With the funds gathered by Families for Christ throughout the past years, renovation works on this unutilised property have started and Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been concluded already. The latter include the counselling rooms, listening centre, prayers rooms and meeting rooms. In addition, the main hall and recreational area have also been refurbished.
The 3rd phase covers the Retreat Centre, which consists of 15 bedrooms, a prayer room and spacious living room. This area will be complementing the rest of the building and will aid giving a holistic approach to the notion we believe in; having a retreat centre which gives the couple a whole retreat experience.
As a result, we would really like to ask you for your contribution towards this goal via crowdfunding. A room costs approximately Euro 8,000 and we believe we could really contribute towards achieving this goal towards the completion of The Core.
