Grow Paintball in Malta: More Players, More Opportunities

Malta Paintball is a registered voluntary sporting organisation, VO/2678, working to grow competitive paintball in Malta.

Our aim is to get more men, women and, as our youth programme develops, younger players involved in the sport. We want to create a pathway from trying paintball for the first time through to regular local competition and, for those who want it, international competition and representing Malta.

This supports the wider Maltese policy of encouraging movement through sport by creating another accessible way for people to become active, join a team and participate in organised sport.

To grow participation, we need the equipment and people required to run the sport properly.

Funds raised will support priorities including:
– 2026 and 2027 Sup’Air bunker upgrades, approximately €1,000 each plus shipping.
– Three tournament-standard chronographs for safety and event operations, approximately €1,050 total.
– Training and equipment for local referees.
– Referee jerseys.
– Portable tents and event infrastructure.
– Safety equipment and signage.
– Portable secure storage.
– Equipment needed to run training sessions, leagues, tournaments and introductory events.

The goal is not simply to buy equipment. These investments give Malta Paintball the capacity to train more players, run safer and better organised events, develop officials and create regular competitive opportunities in Malta.

We want to build a sustainable grassroots sport where new players can get involved, women have a clear competitive pathway, youth opportunities can be developed responsibly, and Malta can continue building teams capable of competing internationally.

Malta Paintball is volunteer-run and will continue to combine member contributions, sponsorship, grants and donations to grow the sport.

Every donation helps us create more opportunities for people to play paintball in Malta.
